Fig ice cream
Ingredients
For 4 people:
- 1 kg. dried figs
- 1 litre Mistela
- 750 ml. Milk
- 250 ml. Cream
- 8 egg-yolks
Preparation
- Soak figs with mistela. Drain and mash.
- Next infuse with flavour by mixing figs with milk and cream (heated previously without bringing to boil) and allow to sit for 8 hours to gain flavour.
- Following step (2) strain mix, add egg-yolks and place in freezer for 1 hour.
